Capt. Mohamed Bazina combines extensive academic background and experience in shipping. He holds Master of Science Degree in Shipping Management from New York Maritime College, Master Mariner License and Diploma in Advanced Chartering (Time & Voyage Chartering) from Associations of Ship Brokers and Agents (USA), in addition to all chartering certificates from Lloyds Maritime Academy (London) and from BIMCO.

He has worked within the global shipping industry for more than three decades. He was a Lecturer at Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport(AASTMT)in Alexandria, teaching Maritime Law and Chartering. Also, on behalf of (AASTMT), he advised in resolving commercial maritime disputes and cases in courts in Egypt. He worked for Qatar Energy for 17 years in different positions and was a member in the Maritime Committee of the State of Qatar, advising in maritime legal aspects. He served onboard different types of ships for different flags for 10 years.

He is currently working as a consultant for commercial maritime issues, disputes and negotiating contracts including Sale & Purchase and chartering contracts and conducting workshops and training in Time & Voyage Chartering and Maritime Law.
